1. What did you choose for your project? Why did you pick the project?
We chose to do stop motion with the stress ball that I had. We picked this project because we thought it would look cool to have a stop motion drawing where the object became real.
2. Explain your process from the start to finish.
First Liam lightly drew the outline of the stress ball guy. He then began to trace over the drawing with red colored pencil and red marker. As he did this I sporadically took pictures from up above (my phone was placed between two yard sticks, stacked on two chairs). He then snapped his fingers and we put the real stress ball guy on the paper and Liam played with it as I took pictures. After all of this was done I went home and used imovie to put the pictures together, I added music and our project was done.
3. What do you find successful about your piece?
I think the stop motion moved very smoothly, I believe that it did not look choppy.
4. What might you change if you were to do it again?
I would use a darker red to create the figure. I thought that it looked a little real, but it could have been more real if we used a red closer to the stress ball guy’s color.
